The most commonly practiced massage for relaxation purposes. Of
Western
origin, this massage may utilize long gliding strokes, friction,
vibration,
or tapotement.
Similar to NeuroMuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue Therapy utilizes the use of
fingers,
knuckles, thumbs, and elbows in a slow, deep fashion to relieve
muscle
tension.
NeuroMuscular
Therapy
This session will include many therapies with emphasis on the soft
tissues of the
body, it aim is to restore the structural, functional, and postural
integrity
of the body. It also alleviates pain, reduces stress and health
restrictions,
as well as muscle tension.
Trigger
Point Therapy
A therapeutic technique that strictly aims to find areas of tension
and knots and release them with a variation of static holds. This
treatment is excellent for recent or chronic tension and helps to
restore
range of motion.
Myoskeletal Alignment Technique
The Myoskeletal method simplifies assessment of painful neck, low back, shoulder, arm, and hand conditions by looking for A.R.T. = Asymmetry, Restriction of motion, and Tissue texture abnormality. Treating pain without improving posture is generally regarded as a quick-fix and, at best, only a temporary solution for helping our clients in need. Using the Dalton MAT method of assessment and treatment, we have two very powerful tools for identifying muscle imbalance strain patterns that cause body asymmetry leading to pain.
PRICING: All of the therapies listed above are available in 30, 60, 90 and 120 minute sessions.
